Introduction

The software developed by Appliance Retailer Information Systems LLC (hereafter referred to as ARIS) is relied upon by thousands of business across the United States and internationally. To facilitate cooperation, and to allow third party developers to build interoperable software, ARIS makes the overwhelming majority (about 99%) of its source code available under this license. If there is one thing that we know at ARIS, it is that change is as inevitable as it is unpredictable. For this reason, we have made the terms of this license as flexible as possible.

What is Covered By This License and Copyright Notice

This license does not apply to all of our source code files, just the majority of them. Certain parts of our software code base contains sensitive information (such as passwords, encryption keys etc.) or is otherwise proprietary and, as such, is subject to applicable copyright laws and is not available for use under the terms of the below license. This license and copyright notice applies only to source files and data files to which a clear reference to this copyright notice and license is affixed.

ARIS reserves the right to change this license and copyright notice from time to time and to release revised source code and data files under a different license.
